Cycling between neighbors - On the road in the cultural heritage

This year's CULTURE CYCLING is dedicated to the cultural heritage sites of Neutornow Church, the European Bridge Neurüdnitz-Siekierki and the Viadrus Monument in Güstebiese Loose. On a route of 39 km, you will get to know the cultural features of the Oderbruch in short guided tours. This year's special feature: we will be accompanied by TANTE FRIEDL - a Bavarian-American music duo from Berlin. Their music transcends the boundaries of folk music from Bavaria to America. With accordion, banjo and their expressive voices, they bring an energetic sound that will give our tour enough strength for every further stage. They will be giving a total of three concerts on this day. And because they love riding tandems so much, they will simply ride along with their instruments.

Route: Bad Freienwalde - Neutornow - Neurüdnitz-Siekierki - Gozdowice (PL) - Güstebieser Loose - Neurüdnitz-Siekierki

The tour starts at 11 am on the market square in Bad Freienwalde and ends at 5 pm at the Europabrücke Neurüdnitz-Siekierki. You are responsible for your own catering during the entire tour. You are responsible for your own return journey.

We take a longer break at the Oderglück café car and you can buy coffee and cake. An identity card is required as part of the route runs through Poland. If the ferry cannot sail due to low water, we will have to adapt our tour.

For the individual return journey of all participants, we recommend the Oderbruchbahn cycle path, which leads from the Europabrücke bridge to Wriezen station, 14 km (40 min.). Or you can take the same route back to Bad Freienwalde, 19 km (1h), as you can also use mainly cycle paths here.
