German-Polish harvest festival
The German-Polish harvest festival is the biggest museum event of the Oderbruch Museum Altranft. It offers food and drink from the region and comes up with many attractions around the theme of country life. We welcome the guests with a tractor and wagon show. The Schulzendorf Wind Orchestra and the Polish folk band Kalina will play in the castle park. A show blacksmith from Poland and a doll making station offer craft activities. For children there is also the Circus Chapeau Claque (with fire show) and the Wicht Theater with a puppet show about the wolf and the seven little goats. Philippe Gross from Letschin accompanies the day on his hurdy-gurdy, the scarecrow Fridolin is always on the move between the guests. Finally, we present a melon revue with reports from the Hungarian farm work as well as from the harvest in the Oderbruch and with songs by Kati Kovács. Those who still find time in all the hustle and bustle can also visit the exhibitions of the museum in the castle.
