Ron Robert Ranke has no plan, but an old photo from the kitchen drawer to help him look for his father. His classmate Clara is mysterious, taciturn and has been in a wheelchair for a year. What brings them together is a borrowed white convertible, in which they drive to a village on the Polish border for the election of the Oderbruch Queen on Ron Robert's 15th birthday. Can this go well?
CLAUDIA KÜHN was born in East Berlin and grew up in the Erz Mountains. After vocational training in Dresden, she studied German and cultural studies in Berlin. She writes screenplays, radio plays and novels. "Electricity on the Wallpaper" received the Peter Härtling Prize. Her latest book "eins&eins. Ein liederlicher Streifzug durch die Welt der Paare" she realized together with Nadia Budde.
