Children's Day at the Oderbruch Museum

Fun, games and participation: on Saturday, May 4, the castle and park belong to the children - and their parents.

To 11.00 a.m. we open the gates and many surprises await you:

Right in the park is an unusual Carouselthat was assembled from old swing machines (the things that sometimes stand outside the supermarket) and a GDR playground carousel. If you don't get dizzy too quickly, you can do lots of laps here on this day.

The two artists from Circus Chapeau Claque have packed lots of toys from their collection for you and invite you to join them on a large Circus playground to try out all kinds of colorful things with them.

You can see what you can put together from old skis and a wheelchair at the two Soapboxes that you can ride through the castle park.

Peggy awaits you in the castle with a Open workshop. Here you can make your own stamps and rockets and take them home with you.

To 11.30 Circus Chapeau Claque kicks off with its first show. They enchant their audience with juggling, crazy acrobatics and clownish charm.

Immediately afterwards at 12 o'clock the school band of the music club of the Seelow elementary school will perform.

To 1 pm follows the band Reimstau. They play pop music that you will love.

If you missed the first Gaukeley by Circus Chapeau Claque or simply can't get enough of them, you can visit 14.30 experience a second show.

Finally, the judging of this year's diorama competition will take place. Throughout the day, you can marvel at the dioramas created by children and young people and choose your favorite diorama for the audience award. To 16.00 we select the winners.

We've also thought about your tummy on this day: outside in the park you can enjoy sweet and savory crêpes and in the cafeteria you can expect a snack, hot chocolate or sherbet and cake. And we'll fire up the coffee machine for your parents.

Admission is free (as on all program days).
