Photo exhibition - summer school presentation - open workshop - film
As part of the museum's annual theme, the Grenzland photographers have taken a small inventory of the Oderbruch energy landscape. We will be presenting the group's work in the gallery at 11 a.m. together with the results of our summer school, which we are holding in the days beforehand in cooperation with the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development and the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences. We will discuss the topic of energy in the Oderbruch in greater depth with a wide variety of people who we have interviewed about their experiences.
At 3 p.m. we will be showing the film „Energieland“ by director Johanna Ickert from 2013. The documentary tells of the social conflicts surrounding carbon capture and storage (CCS) - a technology that is once again under discussion. Young and old are invited to an open workshop from 12 - 4 pm.
