Exhibition opening of the photo art project on September 13 at 3 p.m. in the Altlangsow school and prayer house
Über dieses Partnerprojekt schreibt die Filmemacherin und Fotografin Sarah Sandring: „Das Alphabet der Nachbarschaft“ ist ein Fotokunst-Projekt mit Schülerinnen und Schülern in Kooperation mit dem Schul- und Bethaus Altlangsow. Welche Antworten bekommt man, wenn man Jugendliche aus dem Oderbruch zu ihrem Erleben von Nachbarschaft befragt und sie dieses fotografieren lässt? Ein Alphabet der etwas anderen Art – schonungslos, persönlich, kritisch, poetisch. Ein Alphabet in Fotografien – von A wie Ankunft bis Z wie Zwistigkeit.“
Over the course of four days, she will work with pupils from the Gymnasium auf den Seelower Höhen on their stories, thoughts and associations relating to the annual theme of neighborhood. The media chosen for this workshop are: Instant photography, writing on image. Personal texts and interviews frame the works.
The workshop will take place in July. The exhibition "The Neighborhood Alphabet" will open on Saturday, September 13 at 3 p.m. in the Altlangsow School and Prayer House and will be on display until October 12.
