Harvest crown tying at the Fischerhaus - new themed towers in the Schaudepot - cabinet exhibition "Settlement of the Oderbruch" - lock staircase pictures - open workshop offer

Traditionally, the harvest crown tying takes place on this day at the Fischerhaus. The Altranfter Traditionsverein, which has mastered the art of tying crowns, will be there to give interested visitors an insight into the intricacies of this work. Anyone interested in tying a crown is welcome to register at the museum. Experiments are expressly encouraged.
In the brick barn on the Berg-Schmidt-Hof, you can admire newly arranged themed towers in the Schaudepot. In the afternoon, we will open two new exhibitions in the castle. In the cabinet, under the heading "Peuplierung!", we start with a cartographic representation of the settlement of the Oderbruch based on the 18th century Schmettau map series and explore the question of how the landscape structures have developed. In the picture salon, photographer Holger Herschel will be showing pictures of the old lock steps at Niederfinow under the title LEERSTAND and in the Studiolo he will be presenting his LEERGUT project.
