Our program day on 6 September from 11 a.m. with harvest crown tying, baking, cooking and live music

The first Saturday in September at the Fischerhaus in Schlossstraße is traditionally reserved for harvest crown tying. Tying the ears of corn together is more fun. The Altranfter Traditionsverein has mastered the art of crown tying and is happy to give guests at the Fischerhaus an insight into the intricacies of this work. The Bliesdorf local history association and Altranft feltmaker Heidrun Jürgens will also be there again. And we also invite you to take part in the harvest crown tying! Some curious people have already signed up to learn how to make crowns. Whether traditional or experimental, we are looking forward to a variety of harvest crowns. The traditional association began collecting and drying the necessary ears of grain, flowers and grasses for the harvest crown weeks ago in order to be able to present a worthy harvest crown for the Brandenburg State Harvest Festival and the 650th anniversary celebrations of the village of Altranft on September 19-21.
Master baker Kai Kreuzmann will be firing up the oven at the Fischerhaus and selling his delicious breads and cakes. There will be a pasta cooking workshop with chef and artist Fabio Fioresi, which will also offer space for your own culinary experiments. As in previous years, there will certainly be a barbecue and drinks will also be provided.

The colorful hustle and bustle is accompanied musically by the guitar duo Janko Lauenberger from Berlin. The two guitarists play rousing Sinti swing.
You are very welcome to come along and bring your family and friends. Admission to the Fischerhaus is free.
