Two digital walks lead through Kienitz and Wollup on the app Actionbound
In the project "Digital Walks through Wollup and Kienitz," young people from Wollup and Kienitz between the ages of 10 and 15 designed digital village walks in exchange with older residents of the villages using the free app "Actionbound." In the process, they used their creativity in a variety of ways and looked at their places in artistic, critical and questioning ways. The theme "Childhood - then and now" and "Agriculture through the ages" played a central role in the place explorations.
Johanna Ickert, who together with Christine Gambke and Nadine Lootze provided content for the project, writes: "In several workshops from January to August 2023, participants explored their places using a variety of methods, including free texting, video creation, audio interviews, creating puzzles, and photography. They engaged in dialogue with contemporary witnesses, café operators, artists, cooks, former daycare teachers, and many more." There was close cooperation with the association Domäne Wollup e.V. and the Kienitzer Seniorenverein.
The two digital walks coupled with pictures, quiz questions, audio recordings and video contributions were presented on September 1 during a joint bowling evening in Kienitz at the sports club Traktor Kienitz e.V..
Now the walks are also available digitally via the app "Actionbound" and can be walked and played. This requires two steps: 1. download the app "Actionbound" from the popular playstores free of charge and install it on your own cell phone and then 2. scan the QR codes: and off you go.
Have fun!
