DragonTime is a long-term project.
Since 2005, the association "Alte Schule Buschdorf" annually invites children and young people, parents and grandparents to build, paint and fly kites together". The good attendance of the kite festival has made the association go on and on.
Something special is being planned for DrachenZeit 2023: hand in hand with children and young people from Zechin, the club members want to build an extra-large and complicated kite. For the construction of this elaborate model, they are sounding out how willow can be used as a frame for the large kite. With a view to the Korbmachermuseum Buschdorf in the Alte Schule Buschdorf a nice and fitting idea. Once the large willow kite has been strung, it will be inscribed with the children's and young people's wishes for the future and will take to the skies above Buschdorf for the kite festival on October 21.
So that he does not sail alone over Buschdorf, a kite building plan is developed for the festival in cooperation with the youth club Zechin and material for 30 kites is provided, which can then be assembled by the festival guests. So the sky should be full. In addition, the association is working on a small documentation including a poster of the previous 18 Buschdorf kite times.
The association invites all kite lovers and professionals to participate with their models in the KiteTime on October 21 between 11 am and 5 pm. The bakers of the bakery barn Buschdorf are asked to provide the festival with good food.
