Installation on the theme of school in the Fisher House - photos - soul pictures - workshop book NATURE in the castle - open workshop offer

In 1717, compulsory education was introduced in the Kingdom of Prussia, but initially only where schools already existed. At that time, the Altranft village school was located in a house on the Anger, right next to the church. The sexton was also the village teacher for a long time. In 1925, 225 children attended the village school, which was too small. A new school building was inaugurated in Schulstraße in 1926. School was held in Altranft until 1999. A new installation in the Fischerhaus provides insights into the topic of the village school.
In the castle we present a show of works of our landscape education. In the newly designed picture salon, the exhibition "Seelenbilder" by Florian Männel with drawn and painted portraits of young people can be seen, in the resonance room also pictures of the orbruchweiten youth photo competition. In the vaulted cellar we show the exhibition "Lebenslänglich Heimkind".
We present the workshop book NATURE in the gallery and invite you to a conversation about the past year's theme.
