OMA and the shard detectives
We are a small extracurricular working group in which the children have the opportunity to discover the prehistory and early history of the Oderland. We meet regularly at the Oderbruch Museum in Altranft, where we continue our education, discuss the next activities, play indoors and outdoors and, of course, have lots of fun. As young archaeologists, we search for traces of the people who lived here a long time ago. To do this, we walk the site and collect shards and stone tools from different eras. We study old finds from the Oderlandmuseum Bad Freienwalde's storeroom, visit excavations and go on excursions to places of archaeological interest.
Anyone who would also like to go in search of clues is cordially invited to join in.
