Lebus - a small town with a big history

Youth films - cultural heritage site "Haus Lebuser Land"

Lebus is no longer young. At 799 years old, this small town, which has been the scene of many a power play with its castle and castle hill, can look back on an eventful history.
To find out exactly what happened in the last eight centuries, 11 children from Lebus Castle School set out on a film project in search of clues in their small town. Starting from the cultural heritage site Haus Lebuser Land, they conducted interviews over the garden fence and with the local chronicler Mr. Hunger, rummaged through the archives in Haus Lebuser Land and slipped into historical roles themselves. Always with them: various cameras and audio recorders. Together with the film team Johanna Ickert and Tobias Jall, an exciting film was created that shows the history from the children's perspective with a lot of humor.
